Ok…. yes I looooooove YouTube. I don’t know if I’m addicted to it but I can easily spend an hour just surfing around and watching random stuff. On one of those “I don’t know what to do so I’ll surf YouTube” sorta days, I found a video from this guy, Nick Pitera that caught my eye. At first I thought it was just another person singing a Disney song but I soon realized that um… he was singing both parts of the song in character!
I found his Myspace page and apparently he has other videos showcasing his talents. I have to admit that it’s a bit strange to see a guy sing a “princess” part…but it’s a cool video and I love the song
Dinner in the Sky… scarry but coool!! Forbes ranked them as one of the top 10 most unusual restaurants in the world. You can hire this company to throw a dinner party for you and 21 other guests to eat 130ft – 160ft above ground. I wonder if the guests are strapped into their chairs (I really hope so) or given a bungee cord that’s attached to the table or something. Either way, I doubt I could ever eat like that. Scarryy!!!
Jenna Jameson is starring in PETA’s newest campaign for promoting pleather. I’ve never worn anything that was made of pleather but it looks like you can get mighty sweaty wearing it. Plus it reminds me of superhero outfits.
There’s a great video on PETA’s site that has behind the scenes footage of the shoot with Jenna as well as an interview with her. I like the part when she says “i think people need to realize that there are choices outside of wearing leather”. I don’t know about you but I will never wear anything but leather!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah right.. lol I’m really more of a wool kind of person..aahahahh.
Anyhoo… she looks pretty good in this ad but she really has loss a ton of weight. Her body is kind of hot..but her collarbone is wayyyy pronounced and her face looks too thin as well (you can really tell in the video). She’s really pretty though… maybe she just needs to gain 10 more pounds and she’ll look better. Watch her video on the site and download a wallpaper from the shoot so you can stare at her hot abs all day.
First off, I’m not sure if this should be in the “Yummy Foods” category…lol but maybe it is to some of you guys out there..lol. I love this website Inventors Spot cause they always feature weird and cool inventions. Of course it’s the weird ones that I love to read about. Kind of reminds me of that book they sell at Urban Outfitters with the weird Japanese Inventions. Love that book! Anyways… I came across this article and saw something that I just couldn’t believe… breast milk in a carton! I’m not sure if it actually was being sold but man that’s crazayyyyy! There are other weird products like Pepsi Ice Cucumber (which actually sounds good to me), a Kimchee drink, and many more.
Ok, I’m not sure how many of you guys are into this..but researchers in Japan caught a real giant squid!!! This squid was 24ft long and was caught southeast of Tokyo. I saw a special on it a few months ago on the Discovery channel but the show was all about different researchers trying to take a photo of a giant squid… and now they’ve actually caught one!

I was lucky enough to stay in Oahu, Hawaii for 2 full weeks last November and let me tell you… the food is soo awesomeeee! Jaxon had told me about poke before and how good it goes with beer so I was really excited to try it. We got a package of fresh Ahi Poke from Foodland (popular supermarket on the island) the first night we got there and let me tell you.. YUMMY! If you are into sashimi then you will love this. It’s salty and a little sweet and it went really well with Budweiser Select (Jaxon’s fav beer).
Here is a recipe I found online for Ahi Poke. I’ve never used this recipe before but it seems pretty easy to make:
1. In a medium size non-reactive bowl, combine Ahi, soy sauce, green onions, sesame oil, sesame seeds, chili pepper, and macadamia nuts; mix well. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
